What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There is no contact form on this site, no newsletter sign-up and no account to create — nowhere to enter your name, your email address or anything else. If you want to reach us you ring the shop or call in, and neither of those goes through this website.

The one thing we do record is what people type into the "Have we got it?" search box, and whether it found a match. We use it for a single purpose: to see what people came looking for and didn't find, so we can think about getting those things in. It's genuinely the most useful thing this website tells us.

That search isn't tied to you. We don't record who typed it, and there's no login or profile to attach it to. If what you type looks like a phone number or an email address, your browser throws it away before anything is sent — the shop has no use for it and would rather not hold it.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site — which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from. This is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information. We don't run advertising trackers on this site. We don't have an online store, so we never handle your payment details online. Beyond that one search box, there is nothing on the site to submit anything through.

How long we keep it

Searches are kept as a running list of what people have asked for. There's nothing personal in it to delete, but if you'd rather a particular search wasn't on it, ring the shop and we'll take it off.
