A gold-rush warehouse, still holding stock
We trade from the lower level of the Commercial Warehouse — brick, 1870s, built when a shepherd's gold strike turned Gulgong into one of the richest towns in the colony almost overnight. It went up to keep a boom town supplied. It still does, give or take a few mop heads. The IGA trades on the level above, which is where the name came from.
